Drawing has been an important part of learning for thousands of years in Asian countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand. Schools worldwide use drawing as a method of teaching; many even have separate drawing classes for children. In addition, many adults study art or take art classes to keep their skills up to date. Many children grow up learning artistic skills that they can apply to their lives.
