Compared to earlier eras, mankind's capacity for consuming artistic content has exploded in recent times. We now have access to an unprecedented quantity of artistic creations from all over the globe- an estimated 2 trillion pieces of cultural content exist today in digital format alone. This wealth of content has led to an exponentially greater number of artistic expressions being available to consumers at an unprecedented pace. In comparison to our early counterparts, who likely experienced a scarcity of artistic content as a result of limited means of distribution, we now have access to an almost limitless number of artistic expressions from all over the globe.
