Importance of light in drawing #3

Light is essential in creating realistic drawings of objects in the night time. Most light sources have a particular shape and color. They should be accurately represented in your artwork so the viewer understands what they're seeing. You can do this by drawing simple lines to represent light sources. This allows you his work to look realistic without using superfluous colors. You can then add colors to represent the various forms of light those lines represent. For example, a red line representing streetlights would cast a red glow around an object on a moonlit night.
