A drawing must contain enough information to allow someone to understand its subject matter. For example, if you are trying to explain the characteristics of a tree to someone unfamiliar with trees, you would need enough information in your drawing to convey that information clearly and unambiguously. Therefore, when drawing, it's important to edit your drawing until your subject matter is clearly defined in every part of your drawing. You should also label all parts of your subject so someone unfamiliar with your subject can understand what you are showing them.
